Chiropractic is a health care profession dedicated to the correction of alignment problems using skilled manipulation techniques (adjustments) for the spine or other parts of the body. Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs) use a hands-on, drug-free approach to health care and assess patients through clinical examination and other diagnostic interventions to determine the best treatment approach.
The spinal and joint manipulation techniques that our chiropractors are trained in are used to restore joint mobility, alleviate pain and decrease muscle tightness and spasm. In conjunction with these manipulations, DCs use therapeutic modalities such as:
- Spinal Decompression
- Ice and Heat therapy
- Active Release Therapy (ART)
- Therapeutic stretching for flexibility and tissue healing
- Therapeutic exercise for strength, coordination, endurance, mobility and tissue healing
- Electrical Stimulation
Using their vast knowledge about the musculoskeletal system and a variety of skilled interventions, our DCs correct alignment problems and ease pain in order to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
