A Miami native, Dr. Orlando Capiro received his Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where he graduated cum laude. He specializes in sports rehabilitation and combines manual therapy with neuromuscular stabilization to effectively treat functional pathologies and enhance performance.
His involvement with the Rehabilitation to Performance (R2P) group has shaped his functional, patient-centered approach to assessment and treatment. Dr. Capiro is fluent in English and Spanish and has practiced abroad in Cork, Ireland where he focused primarily on disc-related low back pain. Prior to his doctoral studies, he attended Florida International University where he earned his B.S. in human biology and psychology. Dr. Capiro continues to attend a wide range of seminars focusing on rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques, clinical assessment strategies, pain science, and human performance. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Pamella. His hobbies include weight lifting, rock climbing, running, and hiking. Dr. Capiro is partnered with USA sports Medicine, practicing at their South Beach location and at the prestigious anatomy fitness center on Miami Beach.
