Dr. Justin Machado, DPT, COMT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist with a passion for helping patients move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love.
Justin’s journey into physical therapy began through his own experience as an athlete. He played baseball from the age of five and earned a baseball scholarship throughout college. During his college career, Justin suffered an injury that required surgery and extensive physical therapy to return to baseball. His experience as a patient gave him first hand insight into the physical and emotional impact of injury, and showed him the powerful role a physical therapist can play in helping someone get back to doing what matters most.
Inspired by his own recovery, Justin went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He has continued to advance his clinical expertise by earning his Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certification, and became Dry Needling certified, further strengthening his ability to treat orthopedic conditions and provide individualized, hands-on care.
Justin is committed to combining his clinical knowledge, personal experience as an athlete, and passion for movement to help every patient improve their quality of life, achieve their goals, and confidently return to the activities they enjoy.
